The Emergency Management Honors Program (Xianheng International) is a collaborative initiative between Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and Xianheng International Technology Co., Ltd. Students are admitted either through the national college entrance examination or via a secondary selection process within the university. This emerging interdisciplinary program integrates knowledge from Management Science and Engineering, Safety Science and Engineering, Public Administration, Computer Science and Technology, and Data Science.

Leveraging the educational strengths of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and the technical expertise of Xianheng International in emergency services, the program is designed to cultivate top-notch innovative talent. Both partners jointly develop the training plan and deliver full-time instruction. The university arranges for students to engage in practical experiences such as summer social practices, cognitive internships, graduation internships, and thesis projects within the company. The program emphasizes the integration of industry, education, research, and application, combining theoretical rigor with practical training to enhance students’ comprehensive abilities. Over 30% of graduates will be recommended for exemption from examinations to pursue master’s degrees.
